  • He appeared in two Cliff Richard films: The Young Ones, and Wonderful Life
  • Best known for his role as Robin Tripp in the 1970s sitcoms Man About the House and Robin’s Nest
  • He also played the role of Doctor Lawrence Bingham in Doctor at Large, Doctor in Charge, Alcock and Gander, Me and My Girl and Trouble In Mind
  • He was once married to Tessa Wyatt who played Vicky in Man About The House
  • He wrote a recipe book called Man About the Kitchen
  • He retired from public life in 1996 and lives in a retirement home for entertainers
